A family business, owned and run by Mandy Foley-Smith & her talented daughter Alanah.
I'm a self-confessed cake & sugar art devotee.
I first fell in love with baking as a child and I would spend most weekends making delicious cakes and fruit pies with my Nanny and Mum - of course, I got to lick the bowl clean!
My love for cooking continued and I spent ten years cooking in some of Manchester's leading restaurants before I completed an Art & Design degree. I loved university and I've been lucky enough to exhibit my art work and sculptures in various galleries across the North West, but I really missed baking.
Sugar Couture is quite literally the perfect marriage of both of the loves of my life - food and art - mixed together in scrumptious creation.

My love of baking also began when I was young, I would make apple pies and scones alongside my Mum and Grandma. So when Sugar Couture opened it's doors, I couldn't miss out on my childhood dream of having our very own family business.
Since joining Sugar Couture, I've specialised in creating delicious new cake recipes and fillings. I love to travel and discover cakes from across the globe to add to my sugary repertoire.
